Has anyone seen any of this synchronized diving on the Olympic broadcasts? It's ultra-cool.

I must be way out of touch, because I had never even heard of this sport. Then last night we're sitting in a restaurant, and one of the TVs is showing the Olympics. These 2 American guys climb up on the 10-meter platform, get set side by side, and dive off together! Synchronized! I was totally shocked! And there were people at about 4 other tables going, "Is that an Olympic sport?" So I must not have been the only one never to have seen this before. Wow.

I read later that this is the first time it's been an Olympic sport. And the Russians and Chinese did great, while the Americans didn't do so well. Still, it was a gorgeous sight.
