Ah, a day off work. And it was a sunny day, too.

Today Marty and I made a good start on painting the dining room. We moved most of the furniture out and bunched the rest of it in the middle of the room under a tarp. We taped down paper on the floor to protect the wood from the paint. We painted the ceiling. We patched the walls. We installed the new light fixture and started painting the walls.

I hope we can move the furniture back in by tomorrow night or Sunday morning. I will post some pictures by the end of the weekend. I really like how it's turning out!
