Marty's grandmother is nearing the end of a long, long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. According to the hospice workers who come to help take care of her, she is very close to the end. So Marty is headed down to Georgia to be with his family this week.

I am doing that thing I do whenever I have a resume out somewhere, which is compulsively check my e-mail and voice mail every ten minutes. It doesn't make things happen any faster. Or at all, for that matter. It only makes me crazy.

I guess I don't feel much like writing right now.
