Good Luck
I found the most cunning Christmas tree ornaments this weekend. They are little German wood ornaments showing different characters. I got a few for my tree and I find them highly amusing. This one is a little "good luck" guy, who is carrying a bunch of symbols for luck -- ladybug, four-leaf clover, and horseshoe. Very cute.
It was a great weekend. I had a guest from out of town and we were busy every minute, just about. We went to New York twice -- for the whole day on Friday and then again on Saturday night for a play. On Friday I took her to see Moulin Rouge in NY (is anyone surprised?). The play we saw Saturday was Proof, with Jennifer Jason Leigh. It was very good, I thought. Even if it was about math. I kept thinking about the story the next day, which I think is a good sign.
They simply must make Moulin Rouge into a Broadway show. It just has to happen.
