Good thing, bad thing (again)

Good thing:
We had a great visit with Susie and Jim this week! Such fun! I am so happy they came. It makes me wish for lots more visits from them and other people (hinting, here).

Bad thing:
Just as they left yesterday, I came down with a terrible, awful cold and I've been out of commission ever since.

Good thing:
I already ordered Marty's birthday cake from the bakery (for his birthday tomorrow).

Bad thing:
I'm too sick to go out and find him a birthday present.

Good thing:
The printer is working again.

Bad thing:
When I got the printer working again, it appears to have ruined some setting which allowed me to connect to my digital camera. Now I can't get any of my pictures to download and I have been trying and trying for days. I am so terribly frustrated. :::weeps:::

Good thing:
It's the weekend.

Bad thing:
It's raining.
