Rainy Morning
It's a rainy morning in Connecticut. I woke up at 5:45 to the sound of thunder. We haven't had much rain since the spring, so it's probably not a bad thing.
Since I last posted, there's been lots of activity here. Work has been very busy, since I was working for two different departments. That should be just about over now. I performed with the chorus at the Music Elderhostel up in Kent, Connecticut. We had a visitor from Munich. And Marty and I went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd in concert.
Coming up, we are looking forward to visitors from Georgia, maybe an evening or two out at Tanglewood, and possibly some whale watching later this summer. Marty is planning a trip out to Colorado for a seminar and some hiking. I will be busy with my chorus as well.
I just realized that most of June has passed by since my last post. It's been busy, but that's not why I haven't been posting. I just get uninspired sometimes. It's happened before. I'll be back later.
In the meantime we are enjoying the summer. Hope you are, too. Stay cool!
