Look at this furry little guy! While I was waiting for an appointment on Wednesday morning, he ran up a tree and stopped right in front of me to show off his breakfast, a big walnut. I guess it's really fall! (Notice the blue Subaru in the corner of the picture... have I mentioned that I love driving this car?)

In another sure sign of fall, we put the flannel sheets on our bed last night. And boy did we sleep great! I love the flannel sheets.

We had a busy week here. Marty was on a trip for a few days and I had two doctor's appointments. Last night we unwound with a theme date -- dinner at Puerto Vallarta restaurant here in Middletown (it was great!) followed by the new Zorro movie. Zorro is one of my favorite fictional characters, so I enjoy the movies even if they are very far-fetched.

On Tuesday I entered the third trimester of pregnancy... we are getting excited! The baby is kicking a lot and I can feel him moving around every day. I've started reading books about labor and delivery, and our childbirth class starts at the end of the month. Wow! We feel very thankful that things are going so well.

I have been trying to keep active but it's getting harder. Not only is it hard for me to walk like I usually do, but it's even hard to bend over and tie my sneakers! I actually considered buying some sneakers without laces, if you can believe that. (No, they didn't close with velcro.)

This week I also indulged one of my few pregnancy cravings. Manner mag man eben!
