Busy Times

I have a long list of things to get done around the house. I think this is what they call the nesting urge. My list starts with washing all the area rugs and goes on for a whole page -- and it'll be longer once I get some of the first things crossed off.

Tonight we are attending the final class we've signed up for -- Infant CPR. We also took a childbirth class, a breastfeeding class, a hospital tour, and Marty attended a class "just for dads." I also went to the police station to have the infant car seat fitted properly, and met with two pediatrics practices back in December. It's been a busy time, considering all the doctor's appointments on top of that (generally about three a week). I'm looking forward to putting some of this knowledge into practical use!

These are just a few pictures I took last week in the car wash. I love the car wash, I'm sure I can't be the only one.
And now it's time for me to hit the chore list.

I love the car wash, too! It's like going on a RIDE. And I always have to play the perfect music, really loud. It sounds so great inside the car wash.
Our carwash uses multi-colored soap. After Amy and Ben went to the carwash last week he went on and on about "the rainbow on your side daddy. The rainbow on my side daddy. The rainbow on brudder's side daddy." It made quite the impression.
I think the carwash is a nice little break. You are there, getting something done, but you just get to sit there and don't actually have to do anything.
