Whew!
Well, Alex and I had a new experience this week. We stayed home together while Marty was on a business trip!
Marty left early Wednesday morning and came back Friday evening. Three days and two nights! Alex and I did okay by ourselves, but we both missed him. Especially at bedtime. Marty is the bedtime guy. Not only does he usually put Alex to bed, but he also takes care of the 10pm feeding so I can get an early bedtime, too. Since I usually do most of the getting up after midnight, it really helps me a lot to be able to go to bed early.
For the two nights Marty was away, I did the bedtime routine (Goodnight Moon, Country Roads) but I do not think I did it as well as Daddy does!
We're glad he's home!
