A request

New sweater

On October 22, I will participate in the American Diabetes Association's Walk for Diabetes. Marty, Alex, and I will join the walk in New Haven, in support of diabetes care and research.

You may remember that I had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy with Alex. I was fortunate enough to have excellent care and monitoring, but it was still a very stressful experience. That's just one reason I'm committed to this cause. Other reasons include friends and family who are living with diabetes.
