Happy Thanksgiving to my US readers. Hope you've had a lovely day.

We enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving dinner with Alex's Nana, who has been visiting from Georgia. I cooked a turkey breast and some cornbread dressing, and a few other fixins. Instead of pie, we had a birthday cake for Marty, who turned 38 today.

I have a lot to be grateful for this year... so here's a short list:

Nana came to visit
New camera arrived (hello, Canon PowerShot SD600!)
More Democrats in congress
Wonderful husband
Car that works
Flexible job (sort of)
Great daycare teachers
Mom and sister coming to visit next month
