The house is quiet. Alex has been in bed for three hours already. Marty is working on our taxes and I am snuggling with Ziggy under a blanket on the sofa. I am sleepy tonight.

Alex and I went to Gymboree twice today. His regular class is on Saturday mornings in a nearby town. Unfortunately, our Gymboree location is closing after the current session, so this afternoon we visited the open house at a location that is farther away from home. The facility is lareger and nicer than ours, but the drive is too far. We probably will not enroll at the other location. Also, the schedule for the next session doesn’t fit very well with my work schedule.

Alex does enjoy Gymboree. I will be sad to lose it from our schedule. It’s a fun, interactive place where kids can climb and explore in a safe environment. I like how the classes are divided up by age so the babies aren’t getting trampled by bigger kids.

Once Gymboree is over, we are signed up for a playgroup for one year olds at the local library. I hope that will get us to the warmer weather so we can start going back to the park. I also need to go ahead and join the children’s museum in our town so that we can go to all the children’s museums in Connecticut as members. Now that Alex is one, he doesn’t get in free anymore!
