Fun with the cape

On Wednesday, Alex had his first haircut.
“But he’s bald!” I hear you say.
That’s what you think. It was getting pretty long in the back!
Since it was the first time, and I’m no expert, I decided to take him for a professional haircut. I have to admit, I also wanted to take some pictures, so doing it myself was not an option.
We drove all the way to Southington (about 25 minutes away) to a salon that specializes in kids’ haircuts, Snip-Its. Alex loved it there. He was interested in everything from the minute we walked in the door. He enjoyed sitting up high in the kid-sized chair, and he liked his pretty young stylist.
She did a great job, too. It only took her about five minutes. And it looked so easy. In fact, next time around, I’m going to try to do it myself!
