Fall Menu

Blue sky day

Tonight’s dinner was very tasty so I want to record the menu:
Pork tenderloin cooked in the cast iron dutch oven nach Toms art
Carrots cooked with the tenderloin
Roasted cauliflower
Green salad and dressing
Apple crisp with vanilla ice cream
The apples were some we picked in October (you may have seen the pictures of our apple picking outing on Flickr). There were three or four different types in the crisp, and I think that made it taste even better.
The roasted cauliflower is a new thing for me, and this was the second time I’ve done it. I make it basically the same as described on this site, except I add some sliced garlic cloves. I used two tablespoons of olive oil tonight.
And I cooked the tenderloin using my father’s recipe. It’s always delicous!
A great fall dinner! And we were lucky enough to have Nana and Granddad here to share it with us!
