Ready for snow

Poor little boy. Don’t they have child labor laws in this country?
Actually, despite the look on his face, Alex loves his new snow shovel. He calls it his “vovel” (like “shovel” with a “v” on the front of it) and insists on keeping it inside the house instead of outside the door. We have only had a little snow since he got it, but he went out and cleared the steps anyway. There are some pictures in the December Flickr set.
He looks really cute in the snow shovel set with the blue suit with the pointy hat. Like a gnome or character from the Lord of the Rings. :-)

AH! I love it! I laughed out loud when I saw this picture…Alex looks so cute! It’s funny – Smacky calls “oval” voval. Maybe something about the v sound inspires repetition.
