Sugarbuzz Okay, a double CD. But not just any double CD. This is the Susie/Tj double CD, and it kicks some serious ass. Tj and I saw each other face to face for the first time in October 2000. We'd already been friends for over two years at that point. We got along in person just as great as we did on the phone and in e-mail -- it was an awesome visit! Anyway, we've had such a huge influence on each other's musical tastes that we knew we had to make a CD while she was here. Or at least start one (I finished it up afterwards). We picked songs we had used on the mixes we'd made together, and songs we loved for one reason or another. Lots of songs from our youth. Ha! I will take full responsibility for "Ice Ice Baby" being on this mix. I freely admit that I love that song, in the same way that I love "Do They Know It's Christmas" (which also makes an appearance here). But I had to put Vanilla Ice on here, whether Tj wanted him or not, because we listened to it during our visit and she made me laugh so hard, harshing on the V-man's lyrics all the way through. What a girl! The cover is a picture of a couple of desserts we got at Kathy John's up in Mansfield. (This was the "before" picture. You don't want to see the "after" picture.) Our visit was like a 4-day sugarbuzz.
