Wonder I had been thinking about this CD for over four months before I made it. I got the idea back in the fall, and it changed a lot between then and March, but in the end I think it came out just right. In a way, this is the sequel to The Mystery, from last year. One thing I tried to do on both The Wonder and The Mystery was blend oldies with new stuff in ways that made sense. I am impressed with mixers who can do that successfully. So on this CD I reached back very deliberately and chose songs from the past that I thought went together well with songs from the present. The cover uses an image from a card I sent Maria a long time ago. I love those two little girls, walking into the wind together. This CD is a friendship CD. I can listen to this one over and over. It's become one of my favorites.
