Mountain Walk, Bad Feilnbach
November 10, 2002

We went for a walk on a Sunday afternoon, up in the mountains near Bad Feilnbach. In Munich, before we left, the sun was shining, but up higher it was definitely fall, if not winter.

Jenbach Falls, near Bad Feilnbach.

A mountain meadow, with a peak in the distance.

The Wirts Alm. If you ever heard the story about how Marty was out in the mountains until 3am one Monday night last summer, this is the scene of the crime.

We stopped at the Wirts Alm although it's closed for the winter. They have a covered outdoor seating area where we ate our lunch. The view of the mountains was great from here.

Up the mountain.

Heading up higher, we began to see snow beside the path.

This was my view for the last part of the climb.

A stream we decided not to cross. This is where we turned around. We probably could have made it across, but it would have been a disaster if we got wet. So we headed back down.

Spooky woods in the mountains.
