Della's Apple Crisp

One evening in early fall, we had dinner with Amy and Tony
in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The whole meal was wonderful, as was the company, and dessert
was this delicious apple crisp. The recipe comes from Della's -- Amy's mom's --
collection.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups sliced apples
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
Method
- Place apples in 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In small bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
- Slowly stir melted butter into oat mixture.
- Sprinkle butter/oat mixture over apples.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for about 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
- Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream if desired.
