| Butterscotch Brownies Makes 36.
No chocolate in these -- but they're really good anyway.
Easy, too.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 cups dark-brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 deg. F and butter a 9 x 13-inch cake
pan.
- Mix all the ingredients together, combining them well.
- Spread in the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until dry
on top and almost firm to the touch. Let cool for 10-15 minutes, then cut in small
squares.
