Garlic Green Beans
Serves 4I like to serve
these beans at Thanksgiving and other special occasions.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt-free herb seasoning (Mrs. Dash)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Method
- Steam green beans in water for 10 minutes or until
crisp-tender. Drain and keep warm.
- Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat; add garlic
and cook, stirring constantly, until tender. Stir in seasonings, then add beans and
cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
- Spoon into a serving dish and top with parsley.
