| Shrimp Destin Serves 4.
This is an easy, fast way to cook shrimp indoors.
Good for those cold days when grilling isn't an option.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 cup butter or margerine, melted
- 1 Tbs white wine
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp coarsely ground pepper
- 1 tsp dried whole dillweed
- 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 French rolls, split lengthwise and toasted
Method
- Peel and devein shrimp.
- Saute green onions and garlic in butter until onions are tender.
Add shrimp, wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper; cook over medium heat about 5
minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in dillweed and parsley.
- Spoon shrimp mixture over toasted rolls, and serve immediately.
