Happy Dance: Spring House

Spring House zipper kit by Bent Creek, stitched on linen with pearl cottons. Finished January 25, 2005. I'm still considering adding some text, but I'll wait until I decide what I want to do with it.

Now I can work on finishing up my asparagus towel!

By the way... I didn't realize I had set this weblog up so that only Blogger members could leave comments. I've changed it so that anyone can leave a comment, and I hope you will! If I start getting too much spam, I'll look for other solutions. In the meantime, feel free to say hello!

Your house is very pretty Susie - are you doing one for each season?

Hi
It's nice that I can comment now. I love the little designs of Bent Creek. By surfing the internet I find more and more interesting designs. In the Netherlands there is not much choice. But we exchange a lot and we can buy on the internet now...
bye

Kathy, I haven't decided if I want to do all four houses. I have seen the "Summer House" pattern and it's similar to this one, but the only "Winter House" Bent Creek pattern I've seen is a very different house and it doesn't appeal to me as much. I haven't seen any "Autumn House" at all! I mostly wanted to try pearl cottons with this pattern, I don't think I want to do three more! I would rather move on to something else. ;-)

Anneke, I know how it is not to be able to get a lot of things! When I lived in Germany it was sometimes hard to find patterns I wanted. Now I am drooling over some of the UK patterns I saw on Stitchability... how I wish I'd been into cross stitch when I was in London last February!
