Michael Powell
Lately it seems like a lot of people on my lists and stitchers whose blogs I read have been stitching Michael Powell designs. I love the bright colors and the whimsical little houses, and I've been coveting these charts! Unfortunately, I haven't found anywhere in the US to buy them from, and it looks like they're mostly only available as kits from the UK, and really, who can afford that?
So imagine my excitement yesterday when I discovered a Michael Powell chart in the freebies section at www.cross-stitching.com! I think it's Mini Cottages I. I think I'm going to pick up the flosses today and stitch this soon! Then I can decide whether I want to try to get more of his charts.

Thanks for pointing us to the freebie, it's very pretty. I am a big MP fan so I decided to buy a couple of his kits and I also believe in trading the left overs of the kits. If they make them so awfully pricey, I see no reason to restrain from trading.
