Pansy #3 is complete! I finished it this morning. This piece is my stitch-along with Renee; she finished her third pansy this week too, although she is stitching them in a different order from me. The next one I plan to stitch is mostly white, with not too many color changes. Maybe it will go pretty fast, although I'm afraid it might be a little boring for the same reason.
I also started something new this morning--one of the recent Margaret Sherry designs from her Ellie May collection. It is intended as a gift so I probably won't talk about it too much, but I will say that it's fun so far. The squashed stitches are proving to be a fun challenge (nothing too difficult though), and there are some blended colors as well. I am looking forward to spending time with it in the coming weeks.
Now I have to do some cleaning around the house, but hopefully I'll have time for some more stitching later on today. I'm glad I seem to have come out of my slump... I hardly stitched at all last month, and I think I felt more stressed out because of it.
